Q: Is this event safe?
A: Every precaution is taken to ensure the safety of both the participants and spectators. This includes safety helmets and restraints, a mandatory pre-event “drivers’ school,” trained safety officials, a large tire “retaining wall,” clearly marked safety barriers and observation areas for spectators, and additional safety personnel (funded by The E.R.A.C.E. Foundation).

Q: Why Memorial Day weekend?
A: It’s a holiday weekend when families are looking for opportunities to enjoy community vents together. A mid-day Memorial Day tribute is being planned as part of the day’s events, honoring veterans and others who provide essential public safety services such as police and fire.
